The company was founded in 1979 when Michael Snell purchased his first truck for the company, a 1965 16’ Chevy. The following year our second truck was purchased a 24’ 1970 Ford. The following year another truck was purchased a 26’ 1972 GMC. The first years of the business were very successful and Mike was able to expand the company quite rapidly. Over the period of thirty years, four more brand new trucks have been purchased and still currently used in the fleet. The last purchase being a 2006 International. Mike had been going to school and working for another moving company when he decided to drop out of school and start his own company. Thirty years later and many satisfied customers including, Courtney Cox, Michael Jackson, Louis Gossett Jr., Milton Berle, Culver City Police Department, Culver City Fire Department, Culver City School District, Manhattan Beach School District, Mount St. Mary’s College, Mike decided to expand the company further by bringing in his son Eric Snell, a graduate of CSULB, as V.P of Operations and by partnering up with National Van Lines, a worldwide moving agent. Together with the help of his son they plan on continuing the business another thirty years as well as donating time and money back to the community that has been so gracious to them. Both Mike and Eric are members of the Exchange Club, a service club that raises money for the prevention of child abuse. In addition to the Exchange Club, Mike donates and volunteers his time to the YMCA as well.
